Design Consultation

At ICONIC POOLS it is important that the design of the pool complement both the home and the lifestyle of our client.  During Design Consultation we will meet at the client’s home, evaluate the property’s topography, utility locations, points of access, view lines and the intended use of the pool.  We will take the time to get to know the client and their project desires in order to design the pool of their dreams.

 

Document Preparation and Renderings

Taking the information gained from the Design Consultation, we will create a 3D rendering of the client’s pool and create the most economic design that enhances the home from key vantage points like entry ways, patios and the master bedroom.  We then move to the estimating phase to value engineer the pool and produce an estimate for presentation to the client along with the renderings. Upon approval of the estimate and renderings, a Design Agreement is signed, and we will then move into the Construction Documents phase of the project.

 

Construction Documents and Final Contract

During this phase, detailed construction documents are produced to include, dimensioned drawings, sections and elevations, plumbing and electrical plans and structural engineering designs.  We painstakingly review the plans for accuracy in order to make the Project Management phase more efficient both from a project cost and scheduling standpoint.  Once the plans are complete, we solicit bids in order to finalize the final contract price of the project.  Once all Construction Documents and the final budget are approved, a contract is signed, and we begin the Project Management and construction of the project.

 

Project Management

Proper management of any project takes deliberate inspection of each phase of construction. Our team understands the standard of quality that ICONIC POOLS strives for and knows that Jody takes inspection of each phase of the project very seriously.  Careful inspection enables us to stay on top of the project and catch issues before they become problems and therefore enables us to produce a more efficient project schedule.

Each client will have their own private web page where they can see the status of the schedule, the corrections that are in place, status photos of their pool and they will also have the ability to approve material selections and make progress payments.

 

Initial Start-up

Upon final plastering and filling of the pool, a licensed startup technician will program the equipment, apply the appropriate balance of chemicals to create a crystal-clear pool and meet with and inform the client on how to properly maintain both the water chemistry and the equipment for the life of their pool.
